And when Max McCloud becomes more than the Man from the Rialta in her daydreams, helping her to learn to drive the Winnebago her husband had bought for this trip and even more so, teaching her that love for a decent man is possible, even this time in her life. But when she meets his family and later as he goes home with her in her motorhome and meets her more disfunctable family she sees a wide gap that may make any possible relationship between them impossible to scale. But she's learns that as anew woman, different from the quiet, browbeaten one with Ed, she can bridge hers and Max's life into one full of love.
This Chippewa Publishing novella by Thomma Lyn Grindstaff was a pleasure to read on Labor Day. Not only is the woman and man older than the norm for romance novels and stories out there, but it was a sweet, touching story, not only full of love but hope too. Reading this, you'll cry, then cheer, but most of all, you'll fall in love as Sarah falls in love with Max.
