Since I do write dark fiction and have my collection of short horror/dark fantasy stories coming out in print, Four Questions Friday asks about fear and what scares you.
1. What is the most scariest nightmare you ever had?
2. What was the one horror novel you read that frightened you over all others?
3. Can you give the name of one good horror novel you think others should read?

1. Scariest nightmares I have had all had to do with my teeth all falling out!
2. I think The Amityville Horror was the scariest novel I ever read.
3. I can't think of any other novels besides The Amityville Horror, but I recommend the short stories of Dr. David H. Keller, whose works you can read in anthologies like Dr. Acula's Thrilling Tales of the Uncanny. Keller wrote for Weird Tales in the 1930s.
4. My phobia has to do with FIRE!
