Today's Four Questions Friday asks about pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns.
1. Do you like to eat pumpkin in anything besides pie?
2. What kind of face do you plan to carve in your jack-o-lantern for this Halloween?
3. Do you use real pumpkin or the ones you can buy in craft stores to carve?
4. Real candle or fake one to light up your jack-o-lantern?

Not usually. I might eat pumpkin bread if someone else makes it. Libby's pumpkin pie is my usual October dessert.
We make toothy smiles. My husband and kids do the carving.
We use real pumpkins outside. I have a few fake one's that I've received as gifts that I use to decorate but I didn't buy them.
A Real candle. You need the wave caused by the wind in a pumpkin to give that spooky look.
I have a pumpkin-chocolate chip cupcake recipe that's very good. Would also eat pumpkin bread and would like to try pumpkin soup. And my husband really likes pumpkin seeds.
I'm not a very good carver and don't want to sacrifice a real pumpkin for my efforts, so I have some plastic and papier-mache jack o'lanterns to use instead.
Since I'm not using a real pumpkin, there's no reason to use real candles (for that). Do have Halloween-themed candles that I use as decorations. And we have lighted tiki torches outside on Halloween night while the kids are trick-or-treating.
